Medical professionals and researchers in the US are warning that the coronaviscosis pandemic could be “much worse than anticipated,” with many of the country’s top medical institutions warning that a “death spiral” is being set in motion for the virus.
“I am concerned that this is going to be a much more significant epidemic than anticipated, particularly in terms of how many patients we are going to have,” said Dr. Daniel Fergusson, director of the University of Michigan’s Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy.
“We are seeing this death spiral in the number of patients that we are seeing and it’s been really dramatic.”
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said last week that it expected that about 8 million people will become infected with the coronivirus this year.
The agency has been warning that this could take as long as 10 years to reach the global death toll of 9 million.
But the US National Institutes of Health said last month that the death toll could rise to as high as 16 million.
Fergussons research group is part of the Institute for Genomic Medicine, which is part the CDC.
He is also the chair of the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
Ferguson, who has worked for more than 20 years as a pediatric infectious disease specialist in the United States, said that he and other researchers are worried about a potential spike in the spread of the virus that could leave millions of people without access to health care.
“We are now in a phase of rapid growth in the infection rate in the country, and it is already starting to slow down,” he said.
“If we don’t slow this down, we will see a very, very serious situation.
We can’t just take this one step at a time, and this could very well be a very big step in the future.”
In fact, Fergusons team is developing an algorithm that can identify patients who may have the coronoviruses and predict how many will get sick, but it has only been able to do this for about a year.
He said that his team is now working to get a better understanding of how the virus can spread.
“What we know is that it is transmitted through saliva and other fluids, and in this scenario, you might not know how many people are infected,” he told CNN.
“So we are trying to identify those individuals that are susceptible, and try to make sure that we don, we don in any way, shape or form infect them.”
And that means we need to be monitoring them very closely.
“The coronaviruses are also spreading through people’s personal care products and other items.
In addition, people who don’t get vaccinated have become infected and could develop serious infections from the virus, which has already killed thousands of people in the U.S.
A doctor with the CDC said in an interview that he was concerned about the number and spread of coronaviral infections in the population.”
The number of cases in the community is quite high and is on the rise,” Dr. Michael Brown said.
Brown is also working to find a vaccine that would prevent people from becoming infected with coronavires.
The CDC is conducting trials with the vaccine.”
In the United Kingdom, where we have a very small population, we have had a very high incidence of the coronvirus, and we know that it’s very difficult to develop a vaccine,” Brown said, adding that the vaccine could be ready for clinical trials by next year.”
If we are lucky enough to have a vaccine for this, then we could have the best chance of preventing a pandemic in the world.
